As garden centres go this place is an emporium of rather costly luxuries. The cafe, situated at the rear of the site so you have to go through all the temptations in order to get a cuppa, is well worth it. From a very tasty soup, a great cheese & pickle sandwich to a delicious cheesecake. Well worth a visit.
We visited at 10.30am on a weekday for breakfast which was a vegetarian breakfast and French toast and lemon curd. Both meals were excellent and we will be returning for food again soon.
We also looked around the shop and bought several items which we hadn't planned to. It's a well stocked garden centre shop with plenty of choice.
Parking is plentiful at the front of the store.
Always had nice snacks whenever we visit, clean, friendly and spacious. However, visiting today we ordered a Spice Latte to drink and was surprised and shocked when the assistant serving us crushed the biscuits with bare hands over the cream on our drinks. Needless to say it was scraped off when we got to our seats, it would have been better to have to biscuit on the side to crush ourselves.
It hasn't put us off, we will stick to tea.
